When your ears deceived you When your plans proved deceptive When you found yourself on the wrong path Remember that it was you yourself who brought you to this place You walked here by yourself You didn't have much on your way here, Except an abundance of delusions. The wrong path robbed you of your delusions So at least try to be grateful for that You yourself had made these delusions They wouldn't have fit on anybody else, So suited were they for your circumstances. Your refusal to see reality brought you to the wrong path The wrong path took away your refusal So at least try to not completely regret The sort of man as you are now. You jumped out of the fire And landed in the frying pan. The frying pan is not where you are meant to be. And perhaps you will be more honest When you get out of this place, Better able to choose better paths. Perhaps without those delusions Those delusions which had weighed so much You will be able to see better Where you really want to go.
